Sitting at a intersection today, in Minnesota. Was a patch of ice in the intersection for me to get one highway. this guy turned to go opposite on highway, hit a patch of ice and his truck with a snowplow slid into me. I dont have a license or insurance till Jan. He said he didnt want to get his insurance company involved or else cops would get involved and we both didnt want that anyway. So we exchanged numbers and he said hed split a new door with me if i could find one. Question is, Do I have to buy a whole new door/replace it all. its only damaged under the window above the gray plastic and below it. So is it possible just to replace those 2 pieces? Then id be able to repair it myself. Also the door didnt open in the first place So I dont care if it opens or not just want my van to look good again. we got used to it. thanks for the help. its a 1999 LX
