I have a G6 and the brakes lights are staying on all the time except when I hit the brakes. Also the cruise control doesn't work. I see there was a recall on earleir models. I need to know what to tell the mechanic to fix.

gonogo, it would be helpful if you could provide a link to the info instead of telling them to Google - usually, people end up here because they Googled and found us.
