Lately my rear air compressor on my 2004 Chevy venture will make this awful running noise. Not the normal fan running but sounds as if the fan broke on the it and it just turns on randomly, mainly when I am stopped and is happening more and more frequently. Can anyone tell me what that is and how to make it stop without having to take it to a shop to be looked at?

I got a 02 lt venture with rear compressor Love more way then 1, had the same problem with it, I replace it with a use one the from the junk yard. happy now. 1 hour to do the job
