Have had a problem for the last year and a half and not sure just what to do. My mileage on my 2008 HHR has dropped significantly by about 2 miles per gallon. I drive a lot of miles in a day and used to get about 28 mpg to 31 mpg on long trips. Now I am getting about 25 to 26 mpg no matter how far I drive. I have tried fuel injection cleaners and fuel additives and nothing works. Does anyone have a clue as to what I need to do to get the MPG back?I do know that MO where I buy gas uses Ethanol in it's gas but you would think that I could still get higher mileage on longer trips than I am getting.
