I've heard rumors of a new 6 speed transmission in the 2013 highlander. Anyone else know about this and think it would be worth waiting for a 2013 as opposed to making a great deal on a 2012 now?Thanks for all your ideas.

In looking at the '13 information on Toyota's site, looks like only a 4cyl. 2wd has the 6 speed trans.If your going for a 2wd model with a 4cyl. and can get a good buy on a '12, I would go for it.
As for me, I'm considering a 4wd so a V6 with a 5speed is the only option.
Curious now though is when will the Highlander get any major changes, 2014?
