I just realized what may cause your particular staining problem. If your jeans are new, for example, colors can "bleed" from clothing when new. So can other clothes when new and "bleed" for a while. If they are washable, use Shout Color Catcher sheets in the washer. If you use a clothes dryer the sheet can go in there as well. Scotch guard sprayed on jeans can work also

You can see the lights come on when you turn. Look out your side window, slightly down and toward the front - when making a left turn and you'll see a light come on - if you have the feature. That's how I found out my vehicle had the feature - I didn't know until I saw the light come on.

And be sure that your auto insurance is up to date, looking out the side window while making a turn...

Did you ever get the DashCommand or another app to monitor your gas mileage?
You had stated earlier that you get 28-32 MPG on the Highway but get poor city mileage on your short trips in hilly terrain. Sounds like that may just be normal.

Tonight I did a 21 mile round trip errand. Including my cold-start I averaged 31.0 MPG on the trip. Partly city, mostly highway, max cruising speed 62MPH.

Blue jeans stain from fairly new jeans is a given on light colored leather car seats. No way around it. Basic black or stone, and I preferred the lighter interior with the black tuxedo exterior.

I understand with new jeans. Mine aren't new though. But I still kept an eye out- blue jean stains on light colored leather interiors isn't a Ford-only phenomena. We've had two other non-Fords that had the same situation occur.

I don't consider it defect with the materials, just something to watch out for, and take care of when you notice it.
