Yesterday my van wouldn't start for my wife after work, so she got a jump from someone. When she started home she called me and said the gauges and dash lights were going crazy so i told her to turn around and take it to a garage in the town where she works. She said it was still doing odd things when she pulled in, and eventually it died. The guy at the garage checked the battery and said it was bad so I replaced the battery. The van does great now except that the fuel gauge isnt reading properly and the tach needle has done a 360 and is on the bottom side of that pin that the needle rests on with the ignition off. I know there is no way to get the tach needle back around, but is there any way to reset the gauges to get the fuel gauge working again?
