if dealer can't do anything about it, then, you should maybe put a rubber protectors there possibly where it's making the contact?

Yeah, I was thinking about that but I didn't really want to glue a piece of rubber to the car. I was thinking maybe using silicone but I don't know what that would do to the paint either.
