Does anyone have any insider information regarding the 2013 CX-9? I've got a bad case of "car fever" and really like the CX-9, but I am one of those that would be miserable for the next 6-8 years if the next model was a complete redesign. I suspect it will be either the 2013 or 2014. I can wait til the 2013's are available, but probably not for a 2014. I may have to consider other options. Just curious if anyone has any real information or even speculation at this point. Of course, the dealer says not 2013.

Current generation CX-9 is on its sixth model year and by now it is generally trouble-free. If 2013 CX-9 does happen to be a new design, then you might want to consider that first model year vehicles, including Mazdas, have not always been stellar in terms of their reliability.

Trouble-free does not mean there is no flaw.

No, it does not. But it does mean that with the 2012 model you are much less likely to end up posting in a thread akin to those in CX-7 section.
