I got a 2003 ford ranger with 100,000 miles. V6 3.0L with running issues. The truck will drive at lower speeds (45 and below) just fine. When you go to pass someone, get on the interstate or just floor the pedal it bucks and cuts out like its cutting the fuel. I changed the fuel filter hopeing for the obvious but not luck. After changeing the filter it ran fine for a block when I floord it but then started bucking after that. It has no codes and the fuel pressure seems a little high from a freind who checked it. I was thinking possibably the fuel pump or the fuel pressure regulator but dont know alot about these trucks being as its my first ford. Anyone have any suggestions?

From your description I would say you need to replace the Syncronizer Shaft Assembly. The TSB # is 05-22-12 you can read about it here TSB 05-22-12 I had The same problem
