I'm just wondering why there is such huge discrepancy between the USA and CDN maintenance schedules:USA:
Oil Change: every 12,000km or 12 month
ATF Change: every 84 month
Brake Fluid: never
CDN:
Oil Change: every 8,000km or 4 month
ATF Change: every 16 month
Brake Fluid: every 32 month
any Canadian owners actually follow the recommended schedule?

We bought a 2007 V6 in Aug 2007 and owned it until March 2011 (car accident totaled it), when it had 61,000 km. We changed the oil every 8,000km (6 mos) but did not change the ATF or the brake fluid. Our dealer never recommended it to us and I did not do it myself. Our warranty was still good with them. We now have a 2011 V6, to replace our beloved 2007 (only 10,000km on the 2011 yet, oil changed at 8,000 km).
