I was cleaning the IAC valve this morning for my engine stalling problem on Mazda MPV 2005. I accidently dropped a Lug and am unable to locate it with a flah light , nor does a magnetic pickup tool is able to pick any thing. If I drive this vehicle without finding the Lug will it cause any damage to the car or create any safty issues ? any ideas , help is greatly appreciated.
thank you

What do you mean by a "lug"?
Not a lug nut?

Yes a Lug nut, sorry did not know exactly what it is called. I knew it is something "lug", thanks for the exact name. Any suggestions for my problem . Just a update - Have been driving this vehicle for past 2 days on the surface street speed at about 30- 40 miles . Have driven about 20 miles so far. No issues yet. wondering if it si OK to go on the freeways.

It probably already fell out or else it's jammed into some tight spot.
If it were my car I wojldn't worry about it.
