#101 of 163 Is it just me?
Jun 19, 2013 (4:28 am)
I cannot find a link to these Forums once I go to either the What's Hot section, the Edmunds.com home page or the Site Map. I might never have gotten back here if I hadn't set a tab.
Is this an oversight or am I not seeing something?

It's not just you. If you mouse-over "What's Hot" at the top of the page, there is a drop down with "Car Forums" as the last selection. Move to that and it will take you to the Forums landing page.

This issue seems to have returned in the past couple days, again not a big deal but sometimes takes a couple retries to get where you wanted to go

I've experienced it all day today. It starts to load the forum text and then blanks to the lost connectionn from MS Internet Explorer.
I wonder if it's when one of the advertisements or ancillary boxes start to load that's causing the reset of some kind.

It has been a bit flaky. If loading posts gets hung up, it seems to help to go to the Forums Landing page under the What's Hot tab and reading new posts from there.

"internet explorer has modified this page to help prevent cross-site scripting. Click here for more infomration..."
I keep getting this popup exclusively on Townhall-talk.edmunds.com for the last several days. At first I thought it was my popup blocker. But from searching the net I think it's different.
Is this something that the servers should handle on Edmunds' end or whoever supplies the server time? My setup is IE8 with XP SP3. This happens on both my older computers. Haven't checked on my Win7 laptop that my wife has.
Is anyone else getting this message?
I'm running this question in on the Help page here at Edmunds as well as posting here for others to see.

Aug 2 2013.
Yes Edmunds is still down.
I am trying to do an appraisal of a used car.
It takes the year then never gives me a make or model.
The bottom of the page just sits and spins
