So it appears that Edmunds has lobotomized Inside Line. The "news" tab is showing stuff from 2008, the long-term tests have been silent since Dec. 7th, and there is an announcement that it is all going away after January 13th.
The announcement directs you to Edmunds "What's Hot" page, but that page doesn't show everything in the fleet and I can see no way to find that content.
I also note that the link in the Edmunds.com header to the Forums is no longer there - not a good sign.
Is there more to come that we have not seen? Or is this what it's going to be from here on out?
Right now it appears to be pretty much a train wreck.

What's going to happen to Reader's Rides?
#55 of 100 post a picture

I'd like to post a picture from file. I see the "img" tool at the bottom. Is it possible to post a picture from my computer? If not, how would I go about uploading it and copying a link? Thank you.

You would need an account at a photo hosting site. I use Photobucket - it's free and works well.

Your photo needs to have its own URL - you can't simply link to it on your computer. So you'll have to upload your photo to a hosting site as ab348 says (I usually use tinypic.com but there are lots of hosting sites to choose from out there).
Once you upload your photo and get a url/link for it, that link is what you paste after clicking IMG button.
Check out the FAQ too.

I can't seem to see any 'posts' (replies) to long term tests either, when I follow the main Edmunds' link to read them. Each editor's post has a "See full article and comment" link, but following it just shows the article, no comments, and no way to add any that I can see. If this is the improvement Edmunds' thinks is being made by merging InsideLine back into the main site, it's going to be removed from my Favorites soon. Half of the interesting stuff on IL was reader comments to the various articles.

I can't see any comments anywhere either.
After Edmunds killed Insideline, my time spent on Edmunds is less than 10% of what it used to be, if that's what they want to hear.

The "we're moving" post says that "there will be a commenting feature on LT updates. It hasn't been implemented yet but should be coming soon." That comment was posted yesterday.
