Worked for me just now appraising my old '99 minivan (ouch!). Try clearing your browser cache; if that doesn't help, recycling the power on your router or modem sometimes helps issues like this.

This doesn't work for me either. I've cleared the cache and tried accessing it on multiple computers.

Multiple computers on your home network? Or on computers elsewhere, like a neighbors or one at your library? Are you having any issues with getting TMV on cars under the New Cars tab?

If it's just at your home, try resetting the modem or router by powering off for a minute or two.

Some browsers have a compatibility mode that you can try. Or maybe you have your privacy settings set too restrictive.

If that doesn't help you can contact us link at the bottom of the page and someone will work with you by email. You'll need to provide as much info as you can, like your operating system, browser, etc.

As I'm sure you're aware by now, we're having huge difficulties logging in, as well as trying to browse and replay on the forums. Sounds like a total code re-write is in order.....and very soon.

#26 of 88 Site hard to use and annoying. Sections keep jumping around because of ads by hfirst

Aug 04, 2012 (9:46 am)

I have to say I've always liked your site but I no longer am telling people to use this hard site. I load the site, some sections draw, but then the site is not done rednering yet, but I see what I want and I click, but then the section moves on me right then, and I clicked the wrong thing.

And I "think" you are doing it intentionally cause sometimes that wrong thing is an "Ad". Other times, it's the wrong car model.

Whatever you are doing, it's really annoying.

Sorry for the problems you're experiencing. Is this in Forums only or are you referring to all areas of the site in general?

I am referring to your regular site where one browses new cars, prices, reviews, etc. I am using IE8.

1) For example, I go to home page, click on a brand in the lower section brand by make, I see MDX, I go to click, oh, wait, darn, the site just shifted everything down, and now I clicked on ILX instead. Aaaarggh.

2) Now, instead go and drill down into bmw 3 series sedan. Same problem here, models popup, I see 2013, I goto to click, but right when I clicked, the models shifted down and I'm on 2012.

3) Dril down into the wrong 2012, and now that page AGAIN, constant shifting. I want to click but the page shifts down as you render that ad above the product header.

I see that sometimes on various web sites. It's like the page jumps just when I'm ready to mouse click. Moving the mouse down seems to make some pages shift down. My problem is random though and intermittent, so I can't just reproduce it to break it.

Haven't really researched to see what the issue could be (I'm using IE10 and an older Microsoft Intellimouse, so I figure it's just a driver issue with older hardware and "beta" software). Anyway, you may want to see if there's a newer driver for your mouse and see if that helps.
