That's one I've not heard about or seen, but I don't use IE unless I absolutely have to. Since it's an IE error message, definitely something to do with it. If you get any answers, let us know!

I starrted getting that message months back with XP SP3 and IE8. I thought it was limited to the earlier IE versions since I can't upgrade past IE8 without migrating to a new operating system. My wife does not mention it with her Win 7 laptop...
In IE, it is possible to turn off either the blocking of the cross scripting or the warning, I forget which. I did that. But I believe it's in the advanced tab that shows up when you go to Tools|Internet Options. It's a check box that either needs to be unchecked or a check added.
Rarely, I do get a cross site scriIpting.
I would so some google and Bing and Yahoo searches using part of the exact wording of the error message showing.
I got so tired of the Cross Site Scripting on Edmunds, I believe I turned off the checking. I didn't get it as much on other sites. It must be related to advertisers on Edmunds and their servers trying to modify the cookies for Edmunds or another site as a third party.
I am trying Google Chrome as my browser. All the bookmarks from IE can be imported and then accessed under the Icon on the headers bar that looks like 3 horizontal lines. I do not like Google's being a useful idiot in feeling free to look through everything I write, do, and look at, and then use it to their advantage along with passing it to the NSA. I recently read an article about a link being inside an email that allegedly doesn't get read by the Google and others, where they supposedly only look at your source and target. But the link started being accessed by various sites after being encapsulated inside a private email. So use Google at your risk.
But Google Chrome is better than FireFox. And no cross-scripting. Just lots of ads.

Honest question :
Has anyone ever tried to use the site on an Android? I simply want to check the value on a used car, and this site is completely unfunctional to me. I try to click on a pull down to select the year, model, etc. and a pop up comes up completely blanking out the screen. I am on a Samsung Galaxy PS3, which I feel is a common enough phone and OS for this to have been worked out before.
I really don't care for a response, I really just wanted to bring it to your attention. I have already wasted plenty of time with this issue, finding this forum, creating an account, and typing an impromptu message on my phone. I am off to discover other sources of the information I desire.
#137 of 163 Lost Watched Items List

Noticed that my watched items have disappeared in the last day, is this a glitch and the list will return, or do I need to repopulate it? Is this a side effect of changing the forums software, and if so should I just wait until than happens? ( I.e. I may be wasting my time as it will disappear again)

Hm, mine are okay. Only recent changes that I know of around the forums have to do with the ads. Haven't seen any other similar reports either. (Dang, I sound just like a service writer - cannot reproduce the error).
Maybe try a few and see if they stick?

Well the watch for this one stuck, guess it was just some kind of glitch. I'll do up a few more and see what happens. A little annoying but could be worse I guess.

"My Watched Items" are starting to reappear again despite my previously reading them.....oh well.

Yah, we know. We had some servers decide they didn't want to play with the others. Issue is being worked on. Sorry for the inconvenience!
