I have a 2009 sienna with the towing package. We are looking at popup campers and really like one that weighs 3000lbs. There is another less desirable one that weighs 2300lbs. The bigger one will definitely go over 3500lbs once we add gear and our body weight (probably closer to 4000lbs). Anyone out there pushing the limits of towing capacity? We know it would be a risk but would feel better taking the risk if folks are already getting away with it!

I've heard a lot of people near the 3500 lbs limit get air bags to supplement the rear suspension so it doesn't sag. Depends on the tongue weight, I guess. I don't tow, but that's what I heard from other who do.
