I have a 99 grand caravan. There is a plastic cable guide in the driver side door above the handle area which guides the window support cable. This broke and now all I see up there is a pulley wheel and a loop of cable. I think the plastic piece slides over the cable sheath end but I can't get up in there to figure out how it is supposed to work. There is no mention or diagram of anything but the regulator motor in the service manual. The guide appears to just clip on, but I don't know how or how to restring the cable. Any thoughts or ideas? how can I remove the window track (or do I need to?
