Opened the door with the key last night & the alarm went off. this morning I thought the battery was dead. I replaced (brand new) and car still wont start without a jump. I was able to go in reverse but as soon as I put it in drive the car cut off. Is this some sort of safety mechanism? Is there a way to override it. I also replaced the battery in the key thing - Any thoughts??
