#1 of 2 2008 CR-V: leaking antenna by wcjnj

Hi All, my 2008 Honda CR-V suddenly developed a bad leak around the antenna mast - water all down the headliner and dripping down the cargo bed. I verified it was the seal at the antenna base with a hose. I looked around around a bit to find out how to replace it, and it seems like you might have to remove the headliner to get at the antenna base from the inside? Can somebody confirm or deny? If you could point me to a reference, I would be grateful.

By the way, the local dealer suggested that it would require nearly $450 in labor to change the $8 seal on the antenna... This seems crazy. Silicon caulk is sounding better to me.
