I am looking to buy a 00 pontiac boniville, I just bought one recently however the guy I got it from owed child support so I couldnt get a plate or do anything with it. I ended up having to take it to the junk yard to get anything for it.I just want to make sure that this one wont be the same.

I'm not sure what you're looking for - no one can tell you about the owner's financial situation from the VIN. You will probably have more luck calling your state's DMV and inquiring about whether there is a lien on the vehicle or not.
