The battery was taken out of my 2001 Cabrio. Now, it will not start. We have tried everything that has been recommended. I do not want to have to take this car into a dealership as we are 65 miles from the nearest one, and I'm concerned about the expense. We were told how to discharge the computer, however, this did not work. The car simply said 'access denied'. Any suggestions how to get the car out of lock down!? I would be eternally grateful.
