#1 of 3 keys locked in trunk! by bcabrio

I have locked my keys in the trunk of my 2000 vw cabrio. Because the alarm went off when roadside assistance unlocked the doorsI was unable to get into the trunk and now it can only be opened with the key (which the dealership said is a safety mechanism of the alarm). And I have no extra keys. Is there any way to get into the trunk without getting a new key made?!

Does the rear seat fold down?

I locked my keys in the trunk of my 98 Cabrio, the back seat does fold down but the lock release is located in the trunk! so the only way I could get into my trunk without the key A crow bar! took a crow bar to the back seat and pulled it forward then unlocked the backseat to get into the trunk. didnt really do much damage just had to bend the back seat back in place
