I know someone will say the comparison is unfair since one is new and the other is somewhat old. I am shopping with price as my priority. A gently used '11 Express 3500 12-passenger can be had for around $26k while an '07 Sprinter 10-passenger with 27k miles is around $32k.I like the Express for its airbags and side airbags and somewhat more manageable length. I like the Sprinter for its headrests in all seats. The same dislike is reverse for these vehicles.
Has anyone cross-shopped between these two vehicles? I would have gone with a minivan with 8-seats but it is a little too tight for 6 kids.
