#1 of 2 OD solenoid circuit short to ground.... by chuckiebtoo

.....is what my p0760 code diagnosis research is pointing to. (It is an intermitztent p0760 with limp mode).

My question: anybody got a good way to find the short to ground? The OD wire between the solenoid valve harness cavity 6 & TCM harness cavity #60 has continuity. Should I try to splice a new wire there? and how?

Thanks,
Chuck

#2 of 2 Radiator hose clamp by chuckiebtoo

99 Century w/upper radiator hose leak right at the clamp-to-radiator connection. Replaced hose....still small leak. Inspected radiator hose attachment snout....no abnormalities. Last resort, clamp. It's the squeeze-type clamp (screw-type clamps are impossible to get to without removing the radiator, I guess). Almost none of the parts places stock the squeeze- type clamps. Most shops replace them with the screw- type.

My question: Are those squeeze-type clamps prone to failure?

Thanks,

Chuck
