That would work well on a 4Runner, but even on a RAV4/Highlander IMHO it's overkill.

It'd pass a little less on a RAV4 and Highlander in my opinion. They're more city SUV's more than anything. They could fit though since if you don't have enough momentum, the RAV4 and Highlander's AWD/4WD system can't do much else but wait to be pulled with those bars attached anyways. So ironically, it's not overkill if you look at it from a utility standpoint which fits into style/looks (i.e. expected to be pulled out).
 
As for the Sienna, no.

I'd get a hitch instead. Add one of those mini bumpers to it.
 
You control braking to prevent frontal impacts.
 
Rear impacts are up to other drivers, so you're protected from all the bad drivers out there, to some extent.
