2004 Tacoma 2.4L low power

Base cab, 2wd, 240K milesMobile 1 oil since 12K miles, new plugs, 28mpg highway
Problem: Although my mileage is fine, the engine is putting out 15-20% less power than it used to. It's not using any oil, nothing (like brakes or drivetrain) is dragging.
I have not run a compression test; spark plugs were normal color (tan) when I changed them last month. Could it be a plugged cat? Any simple test for that? My O2's have been fine--no engine lites.
Any Toyota mechanics in the house?
