You can hear the fan run at all the speeds, but with any option weather its defrost or on the floor or at your face you can barely feel anything coming out of the vents. I have looked in the manual to see if there is a fuse or something that runs the motor to open the vents but am having no luck. Any thoughts??

First thing I'd check is the cabin filter so see if its clogged. Beyond that it may be a blend door issue.

Similar thing happened on my long gone 1994 Cavalier. The fan motor was working I could hear it on every speed but the fan wasn't turning so no air coming out of the vents...the cause, the fan's bearing were seized.
The only thing that bugged me, you can't change only the bearing, you have to change the entire motor unit.

ginyart,
Were you planning on taking the vehicle in to be checked out? Please keep me posted.
Thank you,

Well all of a sudden I have full fan again. Leaving for vacation on Friday, so Iam hoping to make it thru at least till we get back.
I will let everyone know if it does it again and what I find. Thanks.

Good luck! My Yukon XL did this two or three times about 6 months ago. Nothing but smooth sailing since then. Last week my rear blower actuator went out and when I got it repaired ($250 for a resistor), they told me "we noticed your front air is not blowing out of your vents" (Only defrost and heater vent) Now it is doing it all the time! They told me it will only be $200 more to fix that! That's why I'm on this forum - to see what's wrong and how I can fix it myself.
