They told me that they can align the car in their shop, but that the only way they can do it with the 2007 Elantra is buy purchasing aftermarket parts. He showed me that the "arm" is not adjustable and that they would have to replace the arms with adjustable ones. He said that Hyundia does not make them for that car. Why the hell would Hyundia do that? Did they not think that cars get nocked out of alignment from time-to-time?

Does your car have less than 60k miles on it? If so, I'd push to have this covered under the bumper-to-bumper warranty. It's clear the original parts have a design defect, which is "fixed" via an aftermarket part recommended by a Hyundai dealer. So I think you have a case. Doesn't hurt to try. You can take it "up the chain" if the dealer balks.

hi had the same problem with my ellantra. live in cullman alabama ,after3years wearing out tires mcgriff tire. finally got a specilty parts parts book in .got it fixed but cost about 500.00 to 600.00 dollars. i belive it was a flaw in design of the car. got over a 118000 miles on the 07 now. only problem now is wild animals keep running in front of me in the dark.watch out for them. the front end of the cars all plasdtic under there.
