I have a 2009 and while I seem to have figured out the cause, albeit not the solution yet, to my creaking drivers windows, I can't figure out what is going on with my sliding doors. When the driver's is closed, on braking, accel, or rough roads, there is this knocking sound coming from it. The door is tight when closed so it's only when it's driven. Someone actually posted this same question back in 2005 with no answers, but I was wondering if anyone has had a similar issue and what it was. Of course if went awol at the dealer only to resume on the ride home. The build quality on this thing has really soured me on Honda even though I have owend others. Thanks.

I have the exact problem with my 2009 Odyssey's driver side sliding door - since Day 1. I have taken it to my local dealer 4 times for repairs. All but the last time, the noise went away for a while then came back. The last time it was "fixed," I didn't get out of the parking lot when the door rattled. It happens on opening the door, pulling out from stop, stopping, and changing directions and/or incline (turning while going up or down a hill) at slow speeds. Even though my 36-month bumper-to-bumper warranty is up, the dealer agreed to attempt another repair since they have tried so many times previously to fix it. One repair ticket stated that the striker had been adjusted. I noticed that after I open the door (not automatic, by the way), if I tap on the plastic cover over the upper rail, it sounds like the rattle/creak I always hear. I'll post again if the problem gets fixed this time!
