Hi All, I recently purchased a 2008 Toyota matrix and on cold start after I put it into gear a loud rattling noise comes from the engine. Noise will go away once warmed up. Toyota cleaned out the throttle body but the noise still persists. Anyone had a similar problem and was there a resolution.. Thanks

Hi All.Problem has been resolved. Turns out there was a worn bushing on the belt tensioner which was causing the rattle. Toyota replaced this under warranty and now there is no rattle.
