#1 of 3 Yokohama AVIS S33 Tire Problems
by annfromjersey

At my last oil change, I was told my tires on my 2008 T&C need to be replaced already with only 27,662 miles on them.
Anyone else have to replace their Yokohama AVIS 33 already?
I have called Chrysler and waited for a response. With all the problems I have had, they better help me out.
Between all the recalls, recurring sliding door issues, tranmission slipping, burning oil - I am seriously considering trading this car in even though I still have a year of payments left. I am not happy with this van

Did you rotate tires? The front tires on a FWD wear 2½ times faster than the rears, and if you don't rotate the tires, you can wear the front tires out in 20K, while the rear tires are good for 50K!
Were they worn evenly? If not, then there is an alignment problem that needs to be fixed.

Even though I missed ONE rotation, and no alignment issues, the Chrysler dealership confirmed that my tires have worn premature and I am getting a partial credit towards new tires from Chrysler because all of the issues with this van.
My portion is $481.50 with tax towards $800 total cost of new Michelins. However, Mopar does not offer tire hazard and no warranty. So I am trying to make a decision. Plus Goodyear currrently has a $75 rebate.
And no surprise, my Forbes magazine and Forbes.com has 2008 T&C listed in the Top 10 Worst Cars!
