98' Town Car/New idler arm. help!

I know this should be fairly straightforward. I already have the old idler arm out but the new one doesn't look much like the old one. I thought i got the wrong part so I returned it and got one from another store but its just the same. My problem is: the hole that the center link goes into has a sleeve in it which the bolt wont go through, looks like this

while the old one has a bushing like this one
