I want to install just a basic keyless entry system on my 1996 Mustang GT Boss. Do I have to get the immobilizer bypass? Just to install the keyless entry. I know I would need it for the remote start but im not interested in that just the keyless entry. I called a ford guy and he said he just wires it up without the bypass. He just uses the bypass for remote start. Can I do it by just hooking it up by the instructions?

Should be ok. The immobilizer only comes into play when you try to start the vehicle, not when you're unlocking the doors.
