I just purchased a 2011 Edge SEL and when turning brights on and off you can hear the motor moving, ect. It is rather loud. If this is normal then fine, but if not can someone let me know. The noise is similar to when the the older cars headlights used to lift up....

There is no headlight motor in an Edge. Are you hearing the engine rev up a little? Whatever it is it doesn't sound normal.

Do you have HIDs? Some have motors to change from bright to dim to prevent having to turn the HIDs on and off quickly.
