#1 of 1 2011 1/2 ton 5th wheel towing comparison by dzirkelb

I have an 04 f250 diesel that I am looking to get rid of for a new vehicle (gas). However, I am unable to really find good information on 5th wheel towing capacities for the 2011 models. I was always under the impression that a 3/4 ton was necessary (at least) to tow a 5th wheel, unless you got an ultra lite. Our's is not ultra lite, it is regular size (I can't remember off and what it is).

When doing some research, I saw the f120 is 11,300 for 5th wheel, about what I figured, maybe a little high. Then, I see the tundra has a 25k and the chevy 1500 has a 20k 5th wheel towing capacity...that is huge, so are they correct?

I am really looking for the towing capacities of the following vehicles (5th wheel towing capacity that is)
Ford 150
Chevy 1500
GMC 1500
Titan
Tundra

and any other 1/2 ton truck. The truck must be super cab (4 full doors), and that is about all I am looking for as a necessity.

I just can't find a side by side chart anywhere, nad some of the dealerships sites are misleading (I couldn't even find the 5th wheel specs on their site).
