I own a 2002 windstar and it stutters at 60 and 110 KM/Hr on highway consistantly unless I turn off O/D. Also does this when I go uphill and need power. I usually bypass stuttering by releasing accellerator pedal and pressing it to exceed the said speeds by 5 or 10KM/Hr, then its gone.If I turn off O/D and sustain speeds of 130KM/Hr O/D light flashes on random occassions. It flashes till I turn van off.
What might be wrong?

have you tried to check to see if the plugs look as though a grey fuzzy concrete like stuff or black color is growing on them. if so you have oil foul. the usual cause for this is valve stem seals.
