This is one of those "stupid" problems it's almost embarassing to post, but:
The horn on my Jimmy keeps going off by itself (1 + 4 AM so far).
I have replaced that cheap plastic spring assembly that provides the horn button "rebound" when pressed. I would like to know... Is there an easy way to bypass the standard button and install a purchased horn button - say on the side of the steering column ??!
I'm sick of waking up, racing downstairs to avoid being lynched by the neighbors

I think I figured this out.
The contact on the horn button itself had gotten bent upwards ... So it was only a couple thousandths away from the nut on the steering column. It's been so cold here in New England that frost build-up inside the steering column was enough to make contact. Bent the tang down just a little, put it back on, and no trouble for several days. I just don't do my best thinking at 4:00AM for some reason... I guess. lol

LOL, that's about when it's the coldest too. Here's to your fix!
