Since I bought this vehicle a couple of years ago, it hasn't had a hose attached to the top of the EGR valve. I just had to do a head gasket replacement, so that gave me the opportunity to pull the intake and look for a bare spot. Could not find a bare spot anywhere for a small vacuum hose to attach. The Haynes manual is not helpful. Most of the photos in it are for a 3.0 liter motor. (Only 2% of all Windstars manufactured were 3.0's. Way to go Haynes). This is a 3.8 liter motor. Thanks in advance!!!
