How do I get the diagnostic error code from my 2003 Santa Fe? Can I do it myself or does it require a special tool?

You will need a code scanner which plugs into the diagnostic port on your vehicle. Most Advance Auto stores and AutoZone will let you use theirs for free. Hope this helps!
