Door locks and rear air controls

I have a few different things going on. First, the rear air controls won't function from either the front or rear controls, suggestions on troubleshooting?
 
Second, the doors kinda have their own thing going on. Sometimes they will repeatedly lock each time you unlock, sometimes they'll 'fight' being locked. The key will not unlock any door but works the ignition fine. I even went to the dealer to have a new key made, no help.
 
I assume in both cases there's a short of some sort going on. Would like some insight on where to start for either.

I am having issues with my rear air controls as well. For example, when i turn on the front air controls without the A/C function. The moment I try to turn on the vents for the rear vents the A/C automatically comes on. Should this be happening?
