It could be a number of things ? In my case when my van was stalling intermittently it would stall at stops after warming up briefly and would also stop whenever I put transmision in reverse. It would always start back up again after every time it stalled. It was diagnosed by my mechanic and he had replaced the cam shaft position sensor in the distributor. The problem was fixed and it hasn't stalled again since. It shouldn't cost you more than a $150 to $200 dollars to be fixed by a reasonably priced mechanic if this is the diagnosed fix to your problem. This was short money well spent in my case. I hope this is of help to you in the elimination process of your problem.
