I have a 2009 Black G37 and I am having serious issues with paint fidelity. I only have 11,000 miles on my car and have had small chips on the hood and very small dents in the front bumper. Actually completely across the front bumper. When I asked the dealership about this problem they simply stated it is rock and bug damage not covered under warranty.I have to disagree. I have never had a problem like this in the past with any other paint job and I believe it is being caused by the bugs getting into and under the clear coat (the clear coat is ineffective and the paint is weak). I saw other 2009 g37's at the dealership with the same issues and want to know what other drivers out there are doing about this problem.

I have a 2009 also, but it is silver. I have not noticed any small chips or dents that you mentioned, though they would probably not be as noticeable with my color than with your black. Being the kind of car it is, maybe you're just driving the G37 faster which would exacerbate any encounters with bugs or small stones
