I got a car computer repair code of P1405 on my Ford Escort Wagon and all the mechanic could tell me was it meant "a flow sensor" needed repair. Can anyone tell me what I might need to fix?

saffrona- Give this site here a try; it seems to have all the information you will need to correct your problem.
DPFE Sensor and EGR Information - Ford Focus
The P1405 code, for Ford, indicates the following error:
"DPFE sensor upstream hose off or plugged"
