Its under the hood to the far left side of the engine compartment. It has 3 wire harnesses connected to it.

My Brother's 2002 Dodge Ram Truck's engine light came and failed the Smog Test in California the problem was in his fuel cap area. I told him to check the vacuum hose at the fuel tank. Any other ideas? He has replaced the Fuel cap.- dam104 (Oct 23, 2010 7:13 pm)

May be sensor is bad? can you go to auto zone for free engine light check? for faltcode? was the light on before the smog test or after they did the test? if you open the fuel cap when engine is running bing go faltcode! you must have it reset. yes check the vac/line,sensor too.good luck to sir.
