My front air does not blow out (it works in the back). I changed the blower relay in the fuse box next to the battery and put in a new blower fan under the glove box but it still does not blow air out in the front. Any ideas? It is a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country.

Did you ever figure out what was wrong with your van? I have a 2001 town and country and my van is doing the same thing right now. My battery keeps dying also, and I have to have it jumped almost every day. One garage I took it to couldn't figure out what was wrong, and they told me to go to the dealer. If I could save the $ on the diagnostic test, that would be great!

I have the same problem in a customer's 2000 T&C. No wind and battery failing....I'd love to fix it for this very nice old couple. Anybody know what this problem is?

I just paid a diagnostic for the AC. Front was not blowing air only the rear. The dealer said it was a modulator. 462.00 to get it fixed.
#5 of 8 AC Control Head with Auto temp control in 2008-10 Town and Country

Having the same problem, Front blower goes off with AC and rear fan still on when Idle for more than 15 mins and outside temp above 85 degrees or so. Otherwise no problems.
Replaced the AC control head back in 2008 for same problem when car was brand new.
Dealer could not diagnose the problem.
Any info on a Chrysler recall of this part?
Thanks

Just repaired a problem with my daughters 2001 T & C van that saved her $1300 dealers estimate. They replaced the compressor and no cold air still only warm air. She returned it to dealer and they pulled code that required pulling dash to replace air/mixer actuator. I removed driver lower dash panel, sub panels and the 3 air/mixer actuators are visible and easy to get to. Changing the setting allowed me to view the actuators movement. I noticed the heater core door actuator was working but the plastic cam was broken. I removed the actuator that was anchored by 2 screws and then the broken plastic cam. I layed it on a small sheet of embossed aluminum and used a perminate marker to trace the outside and drilled a 3/4 inch hole for the female gear spline hole opening then covered the gear hold with masking tape so the JB Weld would not get into the splines. Used tin sheers to cut around the tracing leaving enough space to accomodate the weld mix. I scuffed the cavity and drilled 1/8 inch holes in the cavity and the other broken half piece. Used 4 minute JB Weld with extra hardner and filled the cavity and held both halves together then added the weld all around. Dressed it with a file and sand paper checking it for clearance in the male spline on the shaft and installed it after it setup. Re-installed the actuator. All the actuators operated the doors perfectly ending the hot air escaping past the heater door into the air conditioner duct. This saved my daughter getting ripped off $1300. You do not have to remove the dash. I disconnected the battery for Air Bag Safety but was not necessary after removing the panels. Replaced everything and was good to go.

#8 of 8 Rear AC works Front AC does not

I have a 2002 Dodge Durango SLT Plus 4X4 and when I purchased it, the AC did not work. I did some searching on the internet and on one site it said to check the resistor so I did and it wasn't even installed. I installed the resistor and now the REAR AC works fine, but the front AC still doesn't work and there is absolutely no air blowing from the front vents. When I put my hand on the blower under the dash it didn't feel as though it was working even though the rear AC was on. Does anybody know if there are 2 separate blower motors for the front and rear AC blowers? I can't figure out why the front will not blow any air from the vents, (warm or cold).
Any help would be gladly appreciated.
