#1 of 3 A couple interior fixes for my Ram Van

Hi everybody,
I have a 97 Ram Van Conversion. The stock TV and VCR do not seem to work. I tried inserting a VHS tape, but there was only a blue screen for the TV/Video modes. I think the tape player works though, because the tv doesn't access basic cable either.
What should I do to fix this? a cheap, 17 inch TV with DVD player? Can this be easily installed? Meaning I (unexperienced) can accomplish this?
The back windows of my van are also kind of see thru during the day, and I'd like the to be completely mirrored.
Anybody got any tips? If i tint my windows darker, they'll be harder to see through while I'm driving, is there any other methods?
Thanks friends.
Ty

channging out your tv to a flat screen is the best plan . because it pulls less power from the batteries. as far as install you just plug it in to the invertor. and mount it to the front right over the hole of the old one.
