#1 of 2 2nd row seats stowing problem by kllr

The second row Stow 'n Go seats in my 2005 Grand Caravan both stopped being able to be stowed at the same time recently. Prior to this, no problems. They fold, but don't slide down enough when keeling over to fit into their bins. I can't see anything interfering with the mechanism, and wondered is there an electrical component to the stowing--that might explain why both developed this problem at the same time. Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions? Kathy

This happens to me quite often and it is always caused by 1 of 2 things.
1. Make sure the middle row seats are in the correct position to start. I forget if they need to be all the way forward or all the way back, but you adjust them by lifting the lever underneath and sliding foward or back.

2. Make sure the front seats are moved all the way foward. I find this to be rather inconvenient, but they will block the 2nd row from folding into the floor if they are not completely foward.
