As a suggestion, re-secure and/or replace the vehicle's gas cap. Expecially if you installed you own non-GM "key locking" gas cap. Uknown to many, GM fuel tanks have positive presure inside them. If a gas cap is improperly "secured" or is leaking, the Engine Light can come on. If replaced gas cap doesn't work, suggest getting a auto garage with a GM code reader. Many "general" auto mechanics have this special reader. They simply connect their hand held computer, read the error code, cross reference on the internet and they have many recommended solutions. Before taking your vehicle to even a "generic" auto shop, I'd replace it gas cap. One that has proper pressure valves for this specific model of GM vehile.

I checked the car today with a computer in non-GM service shop. The computer shows "Fuel Trim System Balance in Bank1" error. The technician cleared the error. I check the car in a trip of 70 km but the light does not appear till now. I am sure it will come again because we did not fix the problem.
The question is, is this a real problem? Why do this happen while the vehicle still new and we did not use it in a heavy way?

If your vehicle's CODE reader could provide you either LEAN or RICH (instead of generic word of "improper balance"), it would help even more as well...
 
The one URL suggested its OK to drive with "solid" Engine Light. But if "blinking" Service Engine Light, something very bad is happing. Each time my vehicle's got a service engine light error, I would "baby it" to my trusted mechanic. Not too sure if I would continue to drive a vehicle with Service Engin light - unless I needed to. then again, it really is your call - under Service Engine Light condition...
