I have a 1990 R1500 w/6.2L diesel. Is it possible and are there any advantages to converting the rear brakes to disks?

So for 20 years the brakes are fine, and you want to consider dumping a bunch of money into changing this vehicle.....to solve what problem?

Sounds like money that could be saved for a replacement vehicle, at some point down the road.
